Swifiss is committed to sustainability and renewable energy. Thanks to the SAK photovoltaic system, we can do our part to build a sustainable future and generate our own electricity starting January 1, 2021.‍

At the end of 2020, SAK (St. Gallisch-Appenzellische Kraftwerke AG) commissioned a 1,700 m² photovoltaic system on the roof of the Swifiss AG facility. With a capacity of 315 kW, Swifiss now manufactures its products using sustainable solar power. SAK carried out the construction project as part of its photovoltaic contracting service, which enables companies to contribute to the implementation of the Energy Strategy 2050.
